The Blue Riband Society is a non-partisan network of young conservatives from both sides of the Atlantic. We’re brought together by the mutual interest to strengthen the traditional relationship between Europe and the United States.
For us, the US and Europe are the main supporters of liberal democracy in today’s world and hopefully will remain it for some time to come. We believe that in order to do so, our regions’ relationships must be cemented. In the past decade, we have seen controversy and disagreement over several issues, not only between our elected leaders but between the citizens of Europe and the US. This has not always taken the form of respectful discussions, but far too often has been turned into voicing unjust stereotypes. The Blue Riband Society works to facilitate and promote a mutual understanding of our cultures, to enrich current debates and discussions and to seek solutions to shared challenges.
In order to do so, we seek to connect like-minded individuals from across the Atlantic by providing a forum for discussions
We, The Blue Riband Society, hope to be just a small part within a large-scale mission to cement relations across the Atlantic. We firmly believe that within today’s continuously developing world, the US and Europe need to work together to manage the many challenges of the 21st century.  It is up to us, the future generations, to carve out the path of the international community. That being the case, we need strong and reinforced relationships between our American and European peers and institutions.
